The hotel was clean and appealing and had free wi-fi. We had a double room with a safe, central heating, and an iron/ironing board. the property was in an incredible location close to the very centre of Trier as well as the hill above. It was especially great being in the Beer Garden!

A nice location in residential area just outside town centre. Easily accessible by frequent bus service from outside hotel. Nice decor. Excellent beer brewed on premises and good menu. I would like to visit again

Neat and airy room with comfortable beds, stunning position. Location just next door to close by and regularly scheduled bus transportation as well as nice beer garden. Also, in the Wintergarden restaurant on the Saturday.

    Unattentive staff!

Our classic queen room was delightful with fresh towels as advertised. Hardboiled eggs and bacon was a bonus. - the location was FANTASTIC and great, near a beer garden.

Good food and friendly and helpful staff. The location is nice, fairly quiet and a bit away from the city centre but still within easy reach (bus stop right in front of the hotel and good connection to the city centre).

My room was a bit cold although the heating was on.

Staff spoke fluent English and very courteous. We upgraded to the larger room which was v nice with double sinks in the bathroom-well worth the extra money. Free wifi in lobby, free parking. Short drive to centre of Trier, itself a very good shopping town, making it a perfect stop off point on our drive back from Italy. Would thoroughly recommend. Bar&restaurant v good too-burger was massive with meat cooked perfectly-best and largest burger in many years!

Nothing - we were very impressed. Perhaps a fully translated menu in English explaining the dishes.

    Nothing to fault.

The location of the hotel is in a quiet area with direct access to a bicycle pad towards Trier. The sauna and swimming pool were pleasant.

Compared with other 4-star rated hotels: There was no individual bathrobe in the room to go to the swimming pool There was no shampoo and soap choice It was too noisy. When someone flushed the toilets, everyone was aware. The temperature of the room was too high and it was not possible to change it at all. If we opened the window to get fresh air, we had the fume of the smokers who were smoking outside the restaurant. The restaurant food was a high price family like food rather than showing 4 star gastronomy

I got to the hotel at four in the morning. At the reception there was no one. The key to my room waiting for me at the reception counter, along with with a note pinned. Charming. I had a lovely room for a decent price

For the internet you have to pay

The hotel was comfortable and getting to and from Trier centre was day by the local bus service with a stop just outside the hotel. The food and service were excellent, as was the beer (Kraft Bier), which is brewed on-site. A nice place to stay.
